Yes, three pretty women for sure, however, every generation has its "look."Â
Had these 3 tried to go to high school in, say, 1951 they undoubtedly would've immediately been sent home for looking like "loose women."Â
During the late '70's/early '80's, when I was in high school, many of the guys (including me...see pic ) still looked like "Jesus Freaks," and many girls still wore VERY short skirts & shorts and tube tops!  Even guy's shorts were SUPER SHORT! (You'd get arrested today! )
Today, piercings, tattoos, crazy color hair and excess body fat are all acceptable, but I'm not convinced it's any better or worse than when I was in school, just different.
Â
Wow....you da Mane Man Chris!
@jack-dodds Truth be told, we (my friends & I ) ran that school, but we also paid the price for being so cool. 😎 🙄
@chris I know I'm old but today's choices are not acceptable in my mind.

I agree Bob. I wouldn't swap my childhood and teen era for anything since then; but that is likely a common attitude through the generations.
@chris I attended a conservative Roman Catholic school, run by brothers, Â during the 1970s and keen on Buddy Holly and the like, wanted a sensible '50s haircut, but they refused to allow me to have my hair short (not crew-cut: short) as it was too 'statement-y'!

I get it guys and Jack is quite correct. Every generation is inherently sentimental and espouses the virtue of, "...the good old days..."
@charles-rockett My wife attended Catholic school up to junior high; she too has stories...  😯 😮
