You got that right Dave. Most of today's kids/teens don't know you have to work for something because everything is handed to them by Mommy and Daddy. My step-daughter already knew that since I think her father still has the first dollar he made when he began his teaching career. We taught our son that we would help him out which we did. He had a part-time job all through high school and college and paid for many things himself.

@old-caddys When I was in my mid teens, I and my siblings had to get a job during the summer holidays - and find the job ourselves. The best education any youngster can ever have.
