Naturally, diecast/white metal/resin automobile replicas all fit right in to this, too. So first, here is a quick pairing from 1971. It is a '71 Chevrolet Malibu in all-black (1/18 Maisto) and a big hit from the rock group "Chicago" in 1971 : "Beginnings"

Chicago was my favorite group for many, many years. Still have all their albums and Beginnings is a great song.

There are so many! One powerful memory was late in the day on Dec 30, 1979. I was leaving Orlando with everything I had packed into my 1979 Honda Civic, headed for a new life in Washington, D.C. The Civic was a fun-to-drive stripper and had nothing, not even a radio. I had a large, portable, two-speaker tape player arrayed on top of my stuff in the back seat. I was excited, wary, and looking forward to a long drive. I had Christoper Cross on the deck. As I got on Rt 4 on my way out of the city, "Ride Like the Wind" came on. It was a moment of serendipity.
Kansas and/or Steely Dan ......you cannot go wrong with either one and they have great songs for cruising around in your car.
With "Reeling in the Years", you have to definitely be aware of how heavy your right foot might get on the accelerator, especially during the final guitar solo/fade out !
