I'm not really a fan of either but I'm choosing the Dodge because I do not like the Mercury's windshield design amongst a few other things.

Beautiful automobiles and classic American Fifties cars.
I surprised myself and went with the Mercury. Pinnacle gorp!

I like both. I picked the Mercury because I have always liked its outlandish style.
I like the Dodge more than the Merc. 👀👍

Back in the day I would have chosen the Mercury with the two headlights but the quad lights look crowded and I did not really care for the outrageous bumpers.
The Dodge back in the day I hated the styling especially the ridiculous fins but in '59 a good friend's mother bought a new '59 Dodge;
Looked just like this one, only interior was blue. Was a 383 with 345 hp 3 speed push button, the fastest car I had ever rode in [back then]. I LOVED it and grew to like the fins. Never drove it but it also handled better than anything I rode in back then.
VOTE DODGE!
Easy one! The MERCURY! Not even a contest on this one for me.

Walter Chrysler is going to roll over in his grave when he finds out that Moe Parr voted for the Mercury today...the 4th consecutive day of voting against the Mopar 😫
Dodge is the only one of the '57 Chryco lineup that I don't care for, plus the Mercury is shown in what I consider its best color combo.

In spite of its QC problems I went with the attractive albeit rather outlandish Dodge, with its wild fins. This era of Mercury did nothing for me at all.
Count me, today, among the Dodge Boys. I was spoiled by the looks of the beauty of the '55 & '56 Mercury. I was so let down by the '57's look and especially the over-the-top styling cues, that I have never recovered.
I like the Dodge but I'm a longtime fan of the '57 Mercury so it gets my vote.
