PIC: More of the Fisher Body Craftsman Guild

The picture is from the 1963 contest. The judge on the right, with the dark glasses, is Terry Henline who won the 2nd Place National Award ($4,000 Scholarship) in 1958. He had a 40 year design career at GM. I met him in the Summer of 1967 in the Pontiac studio when I attended the Guild convention in Warren MI. In 1963 I won 1st Place in Texas (but went no further) with a station wagon design intended to have a Chrysler-style turbine engine. It had no visible posts on the side glass and featured 4 exhausts in the rear and an external chrome gas cap. Unfortunately the wood body slit years later and I chucked it (stupid me).
