PICS: A '57 Pontiac Star Chief two-door hardtop, in black/black, a very nice looking car. The proportions are great but.........

the front end is too busy and the car could, in my opinion, be improved with some edits.

As found:

57 Pontiac Star Chief HT (2)

With some (hopefully tasteful) edits:

57 Pontiac Star Chief HT PS8b

Another edit with a slimmer front bumper and other mild changes:

57 Pontiac Star Chief HT PS9e

What do you think?

Enjoy!

For a custom it looks great.  The bumper alteration really is effective.  I must say I do prefer stock on this car though.

I like your skills, but Pontiac did a great looking car in 1957, leave it alone.

I've added a third photo with a few more changes. Your replies are welcome, thanks.

I like your "editing" of the car, BUT I like it much better in in its original form.  Fun to look at though.

I prefer pic 2 to 3; that trademark Pontiac spear just has to remain.  Lol.
