These wood-bodied cars are amazing. I am in awe every time I see one. To think that the auto manufacturers put so much into the production of them. If we knew then what we know now, maybe more of these beauties would have been saved.

I like the idea of the wood firms making these bodies and sometimes selling the same bodies to different auto manufacturers. I can imagine some wood worker smiling years later when a Buick owner proudly bragged on his great old Buick woody. I also wonder if the good folks of Helena, Arkansas, have any memories of those times.
