PREDICTIONS FROM 1956
This video is so close to reality in the end that I suspect that it may have been doctored.
Still, an interesting piece.
I tend to agree, David. Few videos from that era included anything like "Prod Date Feb 29, 1956" prominently displayed at the beginning. I suspect it has been made recently.

Thanks Frank. This arrived on my computer via e-mail yesterday. Entertaining but suspiciously accurate. It seems to have been circulating since last August.
There are several of this sort of thing floating around. They're always amusing. Thanks David.

The only way the future can be predicted is by Time Travel, and that only happens in Sci-Fi movies.

@jkuvakas, that 1960 "Time Machine" movie is one of my personal all-time favorites. Loved the Morlocks and Eloy were interesting.

George, so you’re the one who was rooting for the Morlocks!

Since living in France I've come to understand that the Eloy were undoubtedly inspired by the French!
@charles-rockett, Kelly and I spent a few months in Brittany a few years ago, a little town called Bannelic, near Quimper. We loved it! We also had the chance to spend a week or so in Paris. We would love to go back sometime.

@jkuvakas I moan like hell, but it cannot be easy starting afresh anywhere. I do love Paris and for visiting it's of course full of atmosphere and romance. If you guys haven't booted me off your site by then, perhaps Kelly and yourself would drop 'round for a coffee when you next visit - it's small but charming...
A place I love is Bandol on the south coast. There are very wide boulevards along the harbour front with promenades lined with palms and of course, eye-popping yachts.

Actually, as much as I hate to admit it, I think the Eloy are what we in this modern day world are becoming. LOL, maybe the future can be foretold.
