Thanks Chav. That was quite a chase. While I'm glad that they caught the thief, the Porsche is much the worse for wear. The driver did not look too competent.

For a race-prepared Porsche the police cars stayed with it awful easy. Or the driver was quite inept or stoned on something.

@brush British police in major metropolitan areas or Motorways enforcement officers are far better trained in high speed and pursuit driving than here in North America. They drive efficiently and relatively calmly which sure helps close the gap when pursuing a faster car and they know better when to call it off for safety, giving due consideration to the seriousness of the offence they are pursuing for.

@brush Road conditions and urban driving were not ideal for racing either.
