I like the car, but altered as it is and with those custom wheels, the beauty and luxury it had, is gone.  My opinion!

Not for me.  I love to see a retro mod.  I think it looks so much better this way.

We're all different thankfully; how boring would it be if we were all the same?  For me the styling of the cars of the 50s and 60s is so beautiful and of course nostalgic that to alter it detracts.  I will say though that, depending on the type of car, I don't mind it if the car has a drive train and suspension/handling upgrade; as long as it stays a "sleeper".  One thing is for sure though; any time a vintage car is reworked in any way and is saved from the crusher I applaud the effort!
