Steve here,

Sorry for the multiple pics I don't know what's wrong with my phone today.

Or, actually, it could be me. Anyhow yesterday Main Street had a big Elvis festival so there was all kinds of Elvis memorabilia all kinds of booths selling stuff and a few Cadillacs for the car show.  And then there was this pristine Pantera but of course it was sans bullet holes.

After all these years if someone said here's a blank check go buy the car you want that would be the one I'd buy. I think that is one of the best looking mid-engine cars ever designed. Not so sure about build quality LOL But that and the Mangusta to my eyes when I was a teenage kid they were just pure beauty.

I'm not partial to yellow however I remember when they started advertising the Pantera. It was a yellow one and it was presented in front of either Doric or Corinthian columns and I thought that was just the most beautiful ad location I've ever seen.

Kudos to the set designer and photographer.

Could have been Ionic Columns too,

I forgot about that design.

Yes, I wish someone would make a 1/18 Pantera that looked like that, sans spoilers and wings.

I had a friend who had one. It was awesome...when it ran. The engine was prone to overheating and the electrics were...ummm..."problematic".

Lol, and that's exactly why I threw in the phrase build quality.

Thank you JK for reinforcing that statement.
