Tecnomodel and Amalgam.

Yesterday I bought the Tecnomodel 1:18-scale 1965 Lotus/Ford/Yamaha 38 as driven by Dan Gurney.

I had my eyes on it for some months and because of its good looks including those beefy tires, I just couldn't resist anymore.

Not really into racing, I have a knack for the aestetics and technicals rather than what it did during the race.

Here it is, I got a nice discount on it.

The same shop also had the Amalgam-version of the 38 Lotus as it was driven by Jim Clark.

But it was sold for E10,000.-

The shop still had the Nikki Lauda-Ferrari, for which the price was still a whopping E18,000.-

Maybe he will accept a nice bid from me as the time comes. .............
