The 1952 KAISER TRAVELER
Some REAL Kaiser Car Facts (from my files):
The unique Kaiser Traveler utility sedan was a precursor to the modern-day hatchback. A drop-down trunk/tailgate and a flip-up rear window hatch gave access to a 10-foot cargo space that Kaiser claimed could haul Double Bed!
The Traveler utility sedan featured Wood skid strips to facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo. The spare tire was tucked into a well under the load floor of the car. And how about this innovative concept...the Traveler's rear license plate was mounted on a special swing-down bracket that allowed it to be visible when the tailgate was open.
For 1952 Kaiser boasted automotive safety as a central part of its sales pitch. In their sales brochure they claimed that Kaiser's had the "world's safest front seat!" with "Seven-Point Protection", "Narrow windshield corner posts", a "Safety-Mounted" one-piece windshield, full length padded instrument panel, right-hand emergency brake handle, recessed instruments, extra leg room, and "Safety Posture" front seat braces.

@d-m-holcombe, LOL if there was one available in 1:24 you'd have to get behind me in line, because I'd be trying to buy it.
Good luck in your search if you beat me to it.

I would like to see one of these done in 1:43
Great brochure George. It is mentioned about the rear tail lights swinging down when the tail gate is open...this was a feature on many station wagons years before the Kaiser.
