Below are the MORLOCKS from H. G. Wells 1960 movie "The Time Machine".

I encourage all of you to watch the movie!

You'll see how the Morlocks, who live and run the world underground, provide shelter and food to the simple-minded and playful (future) Human Race known as the "ELOI", who have no education and no worries.  All they do is play and frolic....EXCEPT, that they Eloi are given all of this so that the Morlocks can lure them underground each day and...

EAT THEM!

Sadly, this is really what our world is becoming like with all the "stay at home and don't go out technology"!!!

A great movie George, H.G., (another great ‘George’ by the way) was way ahead of his time as a writer. I read almost all of his work  back in the day. The movie adaptation of “The Time Machine” was great then, and still holds up today. Just think, all of the sets, costumes, and special effects had to be done without the CGI and AI of today, and to my eye at least, I think it was better back then without all of that.  My wife and I agree that the older we get the more we want to stay at home, it’s just getting too crazy and fast out in the world. Besides, you never know who’s out there wanting to eat you!

I'm 100% with you Kevins.  That movie told us the future of the human race.  As a nation of people, we are becoming dumber and dumber and relying more and more on the government (the Morlocks) to keep us that way.
