Just like the weather and gas prices, many of us also like to gripe about the United States Post Office. Well, I just checked the tracking numbers on two small packages I mailed from my home in the mountains of western North Carolina on Monday morning, Feb. 7. One was to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the other was to Camarillo, California. Both were delivered to front doors today, Feb. 10. These were not mailed by any super fast and expensive special delivery, just basic mail. My hat's off to the USPS!
But the weather and the price of gas. . . David H

Just got a parcel today from Bulgaria mailed Feb. 3rd. Seven days must be a current record. Postage was $5.
