Yes, I went into a sharp turn too fast and drifted up a curb with the rear wheels. All I could think to do was twist the wheel and floor it, praying the car would respond. It did. My son, who was a passenger, held his breath the whole time. Come to think of it . . . so did I.
I was sure I was going to roll the car.

So I assume then there would be no insurance coverage if a person crashed their own car there?

My son is a natural. When it was his chance to drive I became a passenger. He went into a corner a lot faster than I did and over all had the best times. That allowed him to be chosen for the go-cart race, which he won.
Now that he is 48 years old, has two daughters and responsibility the bug to buy a fast toy still lingers within him.
