Sure! "Great" cartoons!! But...they are far too violent. I can't tell you how many times, as a kid, I would watch one of these, then go out, draw a picture of a tunnel, hang it on a giant rock, then try to run through it at full speed.

I don't believe you for a second John. If you're telling the truth, then you'd be the first and only person I've ever heard of that seriously did this. Cartoons of the 50's, 60's and early 70's were hilarious to watch and perfectly harmless. So many great ones!
LOL, well I don't know about me being right, but I do know that the world back in those cartoon days was gentler and kinder. It wasn't perfect, as it's never been perfect, but it was better than the nuttiness we're living through today. I wish some automaker would come out with a car that can go fast enough to go back in time. I'd be their first customer!
@jack-dodds, I had both of those! The parachute collapsed when it was supposed to open, and the helmet came loose while I was falling and landed on my head once I landed.
LOL !! Too bad your folks didn't read the fine print on the ad for the chute that said "all sales final...no strings attached."
@georgeschire, LOL! I don't even want to talk about what happened after the first time I watched Superman on TV.
Let me guess "John-Clark".....you were arrested after being found naked in a phone booth with clothes at your feet and a Superman outfit in your hands.
