This was a model I built a few years ago. The body is 3D printed and only came with the body, doors, and tailgate. I needed to fabricate or modify existing 1:18 scale parts to create the model. I'm showing a few build photos just to see the gestation of the project.
I didn't like how the original paint turned out so I needed to repaint the model with a color I liked more.
The blue wasn't bad, but I like the purple better. The side intakes are a nice & necessary touch. You've got real chutzpah working with brass; I would've cheesed-out and stayed with plastic!
I'm following your 1:1 build of this vehicle on FB. I assume your color scheme will match. 😏 😏 😏

Chris, don't ask how much that 1:1 cost to do with a 3D printer! LOL! 🤣 (Full disclosure: Chris and I are just kidding around. I don't really have a 1:1 Econoline)
Actually, the part of the build that was a real source of pride was figuring out a way to create and mount the windshield on the model. It's unbelievably fragile, but it worked. I'm also proud of the "Doghouse" engine cover. It's attached with mini magnets.
I also had larger "NACA" ducts but elected to go with the smaller ones. Visually, I thought the smaller units would work better. The shroud around the air intake was fabricated.
