This is a ticket I still have for the 1968 Chicago Automobile Show, then I believe the largest new car show in the country. Since the "new" McCormick Place had burned down in 1966 and wouldn't be re-built until 1971, the Show was back at the International Amphitheater. I would like to be able to go back in time to see the show and all the great new cars from 1968 !
You have the coolest museum-type pieces!!
Thanks, Tony. Many people would likely refer to all that as "junk", lol ! It would be fun to present that pass ticket at the door at the Chicago show in the exhibition hall and see if it would get me in the door. Or perhaps it would be an episode on "The Twilight Zone" !
I as I lamented earlier, makes one wish that they could somehow go back in time ! The "new" automobiles everywhere would be a paradise.
I love these sort of memorobilia. Have a few drawers full myself.
You have lots of interesting stuff. Thanks again for sharing it with us.
