This is an opportunity to buy, sell, or trade without the hassles of dealing through a third party and with the benefit of dealing with folks in our own community. The process will be as simple as you would like.

  • Commissions will be low compared to other services. Please send 10% of your selling price, not including shipping, to club@diecast.org.
    • E-mail club@diecast.org and request an alternate payment method if you do not have a PayPal account.
    • This is a requirement. There will be no commission on trades. We are counting on honesty and integrity in this structure. Those neglecting to remit the commissions will be banned.
    • You can list your item any way you like. We recommend an accurate description of the item; pictures will greatly help get the price you requested.
    • Each item will have to exhibit a price.
    • The listing should clearly show your preferred contact information
  • Each item should show its condition. The more accurate your description, the better your transaction will go
    • NIB – Fresh from the maker, in an unopened box with all original packaging and documentation
    • MIB – New or Like New in original box with original documentation and all components
    • Used - a model that looks good but has been on display
      • It will be helpful to describe the packaging
      • The display environment will be helpful. Was it on display in a room where people smoked?
    • Rough – a model that is missing parts, has paint chips, is faded, or needs to be cleaned.
  • In the event you would like to trade items, suggestions for what you would like to trade for will be helpful.
  • Shipping will have to be worked out between the buyer and the seller
    • An estimate on shipping would help as well. Few will want to buy if they don’t know how much shipping will be.
  • The number of times a listing can be repeated will be three.
    • If your model doesn’t sell or trade in those three times, you may want to reconsider your pricing or wait for a while before relisting.
  • The Buy, Sell, and Trade forum is for use by individuals and collectors, not dealers.  Dealers are not allowed to post models on the forum.
  • The Diecast Zone will not mediate disputes between buyers and sellers. All disputes can be resolved using PayPal’s dispute resolution system.
  • If multiple complaints or repeated accusations of dishonest dealings come to our attention, the seller will be banned.
  • This forum is not for auctions. If you prefer auction-style selling, use the Auctions link at the top of the page.
  • This forum will limit content and comments to items offered for sale or trade and items sought after. It will not be a forum for open dialogue.
  • Please edit or delete your listing when it sells.
  • If you have suggestions, comments, or questions, email kuvakas@gmail.com.
  • Please send 10% of your selling price, not including shipping, to club@diecast.org.
