I'm posting this for long time member Alan Frank. Many will recall that he sold a good share of the cars for sale on the D4C Auctions. His reputation of selling the best of the best was long established. Here, in part, is what he wrote me:

I've been in a wheelchair for a little over 4 months; surgery procedure. Hoping to get back to normal shortly. Medical bills are killing me. Need to sell some of my 1:24 Danbury and Franklin Mints.  If you could share my message to the group, it would be appreciated. Any member can email me for what I have available or what they would like to buy. My email is professor0517@gmail.com. I'll make sure that the club will receive the appropriate funds.

Thanks Tony. Years ago I bought some models from Alan and they were always mint condition. Best wishes to Alan for a full recovery.

@perrone1   Are you suggesting my inquiry could go pear-shaped? 🤦  (By the way, where on earth did you find that emoji?)   In December, I wasn't as into FM and DM as I have become in recent weeks, with several now on my shelves and seven others on my watch list, so I thought I would see what he has left on his list.

LOL! No, the wink was to wish you good luck.

When you response you will see a blue smiley face all the way over to the right bottom of the typing space. Click it and purple emojis appear. Then select "Pear" just above them. It's in there.

I haven't heard back from Mr. Frank, so he may have sold off what he wanted to move.
