KK Scale is doing the boattail Buick Riviera in 1:18, the 1973 car, in at least three colours and due in November. KK Scale: the boattail Buick Riviera in 1:18
KK Scale, affordable 1:18 scale diecast models with no openings, announced this morning that the 1973 Buick Riviera arrives in November in 1:18. The photographs show three finishes — a dark red with a black vinyl roof, a dark green with a vinyl roof of its own, and a bronze-brown metallic — and the car is the full boattail, 1973 being the last year Buick built it that way before the body was squared off.

Model Car Group has opened its biggest batch in a while, nearly all of it for the fourth quarter of this year. Two of them — the Consul and the Granada — are listed as available from 9 October.

BBR: the F2003 that made Schumacher a six-time champion
BBR has opened pre-orders on the Ferrari F2003 from the 2003 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, in 1:18 and with a display case included. Rubens Barrichello took pole and won; Michael Schumacher, after wing damage from contact with Takuma Sato and a spell down in twentieth, recovered to eighth, and that single point took the drivers’ title — his sixth, one more than Fangio — while Ferrari’s haul that afternoon sealed a fifth straight constructors’ championship.

Sun Star: a Land Cruiser Prado in 1:18
Sun Star has listed item 5863, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in green, 1:18, barcode 657440058636, with a December 2026 release date and pre-orders open through distributors now. A black car appears alongside it in Sun Star’s own photographs, so a second colour looks likely even though only the green has a number so far.
