Sun Star: the MG Metro 6R4 in 1:18
Announced this morning with a walkaround video: the MG Metro 6R4 that won the Donegal International Rally in 1986, in 1:18. The 6R4 was Austin Rover’s Group B car, a mid-engined V6 that arrived just as Group B was abolished, which is why most of its wins came in national and Irish events rather than on the world championship.
GP Replicas: Alesi’s Montreal 412 T2 in 1:12
Four references, all the 1995 Ferrari 412 T2 at 1:12. The number 27 car is the Canadian Grand Prix, the only Grand Prix Jean Alesi ever won, on his thirty-first birthday. The other pair is Michael Schumacher testing at Estoril at the end of that year, before his first season with the team.
