But easily due to the size of my hands, prefer 1:12 or larger models lol..

There are automobiles and replicas that look great in any scale, and these are certainly among them ! All scales, from smaller to larger, have advantages for collectors. Space and display considerations have a considerable impact. I think the smallest model vehicle I have may be 1/87 and the largest perhaps a 1/10 or maybe 1/8.

I can't even pick up a 1/87 version lol. I have to say I do love 1/24 ones as the detail is still present and quality is on par with my larger ones..

That's still a manageable size, try N-scale (1/160 ), or fabricating bar-brackets in 1/18 scale.   I feel more like a watchmaker or jeweler.    🙄 🙄     Those larger scales are terrific.    Your models are great, but man they quickly eat up room(s ).  😀 😀 😀

@chav AWESOME!  Very nice!      Anything can be replicated in scale.   If you can imagine it, you can make it....  😀    For instance, I opened up all the sealed doors & tailgate on Yat-Ming's 1948 Ford woody wagon but didn't feel good about things  until I fabricated the tailgate bars - from straight-pins & scrap metal.  😀 😀

"...very nice replication!"

Thanks Chav; they're close enough.   At least I can sleep now.  😀 😀
