It seems to be a week of Pocher. I just found online, an already-built Pocher Alfa Romeo Touring Spider Gran Sport for a rather interesting price. The seller states the doors tend to 'lock' into the body and I can see where there is a possible remedy, and he is offering the car for less than 18% of the kit value, alone. Now, I realize this may not be a pristine model, and there might be other issues, but he has suggested a pick up instead of shipping. So, if he is close enough, I could have a look at it before buying, which is the only way I could see myself proceeding with a transaction for this model. It isn't perfect, but it still would be fun to have around. Have a look:
And, he says the engine does turn over, when the hand crank is employed, as it should.
That's wonderful at least he's telling upfront about possible issues to be addressed. Keep us in the loop please, and good luck.
18% of kit value is enticement enough, but if you can go and see it for yourself, that would be the best bet. It looks pretty darn nice in pics!!
@perrone1 I forgot to mention he did respond to my note to let me know the model was already sold. For the price I can fully understand why it didn't remain on the shelf for more than a day or two.
