Whatcha gonna do when this Subaru comes for you? This 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX STI police pursuit car patrolled the Yamaguchi Prefecture's mountainous terrain. The AWD sedan sported a turbo 2.0 liter flat 4 that produced up to 276 HP through a 6 speed manual that gave it a 0-60 in about 5 seconds. With Brembo discs all around with wheels shod in Bridgestone Potenza tires, this specialized police cruiser gained international notoriety being purchased by the UK and France for regional duty. For example, the French retired a fleet of Citroens and replaced them with this car to patrol their Southeast alpine provinces. With a stiffened chassis and upgraded torsion bars, it has a functional hood scoop for the top mounted intercooler, a high rise rear spoiler and front/ corner spoilers. The police package had upgraded electrical system to support the light package and communication gear.
