Xiaoguang's latest release of their 1/18 WW II Dodge "Beep" 4X4 WC52 US Army truck was a must have replica. I thought it would be a fine complement to my 1/18 Autoart WW II Jeep and my other WW II "stuff."
Overall, it's not too bad with LOADS of detail. The canvas top is excellent, but I think I'll need to flatten mine out (iron?) before I install it. The undercarriage is nicely done but I was disappointed to find the seats/storage boxes in the bed do not open (everything else does 😉) and the Army-green color may be a bit lighter than the actual color..??
Still, though... a pretty nice "Beep!" (..also available as WC51 -no front mounted wench)
Nice addition to your collection Chris. But shame, shame, shame....scuff up those tires some.... !!!!
I don't think that the Army ever had 'em that shiny..lol
They'd give away our location in a full Moon !
@100ford2003 HA! I don't think the REAL 1943 tires were ever that glossy!
True enough, this model is WAY too clean to be "authentic." I'll tweak it a bit for sure... at the time these pics were taken I had own this WW II Dodge Beep WC52 for about 14 minutes.....
- Just putting it on a shelve and letting it collect dust would be a BIG improvement! 😀 😀 😉
That Dodge light truck is certainly a welcome addition. Weather it up and it'll be good to go.
@rich-sufficool "Yes Sir!" I've already started, in earnest, just enough to get it on the shelf so I can sleep at night. 😏 🙄 😏
Exceptionally cool Dodge U.S. Army truck ! Lot's of neat features and it's great on display with the military jeep.

- Yes, yes & yes. Thanks! This came out of nowhere! I hadn't heard of any production plans, never saw an article, no sites had pre-order info, etc... Then suddenly, it was available. 😀 😀
