Although I fabricated working steering long ago on every other 1/18 WW II vehicle I own, I procrastinated with this one.... but finally got around to itΒ  (I posted just a few pics on the Handicrafts Forum ).

This 1942 Dodge 4X4 was produced by 21st Century  years ago. Despite being 100% plastic, it features many articulating "gizmos,"  and it's very nicely detailed .... now with working steering.   😏 😏

One day, I just might fabricate an "up-top."Β  Β Stay tuned.....

This Dodge command car looks excellent ! A fine job with the steering, too. A particularly cool replica to have.

"Gentlemen, I thank you one and all, I haven't yet lost a diecast-modification battle, and with God's help, I never will.Β  I will never tire, I will fight for authentic, accurate replicas until there is no fight left in me... God bless all of you, and may God bless America, thank you!"
