I bought this Motor City Classics  years ago, spent 20 minutes improving the wheels (there's much more I could do ) but did nothing else. It's OK, but 3 really nice features are its accurate scale, heavy weight, and real wood inlays. More could be improved...if I wasn't so lazy.  🙄 🙄

Chris, I like the pictures and comments. I can never have enough woodies in my collection.

@bob-jackman I like them too and have about 7 or 8 in 1/18 scale.  One day I just might tackle this  sedan in 1/18 scale.... I could use real wood and available diecast parts for the body.  How cool would that be?  I also hope to finish upgrading my T & C convertible one day too.

@chris Chris that T&C sedan would be an outstanding model in 1/18. I have the Motor City and Brooklin in 1/43 scale.

It looks great as this Ford woody station wagon replica ! I have two other very nice woodies from Motor City Classics : a 1939 Chevrolet wagon and a 1948 Chrysler Town and Country sedan. MCC did a fine job on all these.

@mikedetorrice Mike I wasn't aware that MCC did a woody sedan.

MCC did a woody sedan.

Mike misspoke; I'm certain he meant to say 1948 Chrysler Town & Country "convertible."

That's right ! Sorry, as Chris mentions, it was a fine convertible from them.

@mikedetorrice Trust me, I was secretly hoping I was wrong. I would LOVE to see a 1/18 diecast version of this...in any color!

Yes, a 1/18 Chrysler woody coupe or sedan from this year would look great! The woodies are very elegant in their own way. I believe I have seen a picture with Bob Hope proudly with his Chrysler T&C.

@mikedetorrice Yep, I'd love to see a 1/18 1950 Chrysler Woody Hardtop one day....until then, all I have in my 1/43 FM (which I do like! )
