It's an awesome model that saw many variations & liveries; I have a few.    Sadly, this was the only 1950's 1/18 4-door model Sunstar released in their nicely executed (usually ) Platinum line.    Nice pic Galen.  😎 😎

Fine image of this great SunStar 1/18 diecast of the 1952 Nash Ambassador. I liked the replica of this big Nash so much I happily ended up with 4 of them. It is a very cool diecast model !

Okay, my brain cannot help but succumb to "associations."  When I see the Nash, it always reminds me of the Superman TV show.  As we all recall, Lois Lane drove a Nash Metropolitan.  Then my mind associates the Nash Metropolitan with Superman, and that leads me to a video I created teasing 1:24 scale collector, Doug Ford.  Good ol' Doug is a hardcore Lincoln, Ford, Mercury guy!  Doug owns a pristine, classic '80s Mark V.

OMG! Too funny! And there's a name from the Great Past, Doug Ford. He was one of the everyday posters for such a long time. Hope he's well, if you know Marty. And hey, Bud, thanks for this!!  Cool

I remember these Nash Ambassadors from the early 50s "Superman" TV series with George Reeves. Even the cop cars were Nashes. Lois Lane drove a cute little Rambler convertible. I guess the production company had a deal with Nash. It may have been the first example of "Product Placement".
