Maybe it is the camera angle but they look very different - nose, tail, vent inlets, even surprisingly the color of the numerals.

Maybe you'd have find the history of that chassis number...
How many times it crashed and was restored with hand wrought body panels, etc.. Perhaps it's a tribute car. It's always a question with the hand built cars if CMC worked off the original or one that has been restored.
I'd love to see more pics of the 1:1 including the cockpit.

That's as close as I could get to the car; it was in a roped off area and when I put a foot over it I was repulsed. Note at the base of the windshield there is no openings as on the CMC model.
