.....a 1958 Opel Olympia Rekord P1 2-dr Sedan to be exact. If you look (real) close, you'll notice a "140mph speedo."
With its anemic 1,488 cc (45hp) I-4 engine I doubt even 85mph would be possible. GM styling cues give this "little guy" loads of charm, and this chocolate color is a personal favorite.
Minichamps did a nice job, but they "skimped" on engine detail & door hinges (having "dog-legs" instead of "aspects") and neglected to provide a trunk mounted spare. Still, though, a great little model.
I've always been tempted to paint those black rims to color-match the body.....but, that's not the European way. 🙄 🙄 😯
