Sunstar got alot "right" on this one. No stupid wheels or odd-shaped body panels. A great grill!

With all the fine detail in the front grill & headlights & the back end, I wonder just how much profit Sunstar made on each model considering its price point.

Interesting question Steve since it's been quite some time since we've seen any "all new tooling"

..from Sunstar. Makes one wonder if in fact, profits were squandered, poorly reinvested or incorrectly forecasted.
Of course, however, neither scenarios need be true; it could be that Sunstar has changed course.

In any event, it would be nice to see "new tooling."

I mean, look at that '59 grill with those oh so delicate letters spelling out

OLDSMOBILE !!! How did they ever accomplish that ? Incredible !!

Extremely sharp. I'd bet you could fit a Beetle or Miata in that trunk/1 LOL!

Beautiful model. I have the blue/white one. I need to get a top-down convertible.

I wonder if that lime green interior was the right match for the exterior color. Just never saw that combo.
