1960 Plymouth Fury - Red Convertible Question about wheel skirts

I haven't received a confirmed answer yet ... Are the rear skirts easily removable or are they cast into the body???
I have seen both versions and need an answer Grin photo no longer available

I didn't think that the skirts on my cream-colored convertible were removable, but I didn't really check closely.

It's possible that SunStar will eventually market both types : some with skirts and some without.

Pre-production photo's show no skirts, and white boot. Both items were changed for production, so all Red '60 Fury Convertibles do have red boot, and skirts. I apologize for not being able to say for sure if the skirts will come off or not. They fit very (very VERY) close to the wheel opening, so my best guess is no they won't come off. But, anyone have theirs 100% "out and off" of the packing styrofoam...? (Sorry, it truly is time consuming to get it off, and especially back on the 4 post/screws mounting system. Scott guessed the skirts are part of the side chrome. If so, may be able to cut/grind out/off...? Sorry I can't provide a for sure answer.
