The five day journey is finally over and I now have in my possession the 1966 Ford GT40 MKII #98 driven by Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby, Ken Miles put this car on pole position. Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby lead most of the race only giving up the lead for a shot while during pit stops, Miles and Ruby also won the last Daytona 12 hour race in 1965 so they were repeat defending winners.

Have this model and all other 1/18 models of the GT-40. On a lark, just received a 1/12 model GT-40 #6 by Motor Max. This and the Porsche 917 are my top favorites.

A couple of family photos of some Shelby American cars but I think there was a photo bomb by a certain 1963 Corvette Grand Sport. I just located a Shelby American white ramp truck that I am going to put the GT40 MKII #98 on and I am going to order one of the Chevy ramp trucks in the Heart Beat theme but those are not going to be out until September so the Corvette will just have to wait a while.

I think the white GT40 MKII will look good on this hauler.
