This is my 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/C by CMC, it is well detailed, the doors vent windows pivot open and closed, the sun visors work, the interior is nicely detailed, the engine compartment is well detailed and the right front fender has an opening flap for the oil cap for the dry sump oil system. The detail of this diecast is very well done. Here are a bunch of photos of the car.
What an exquisite model John. I really like your photo essay. Fantastic detail! I have not seen that upending tool before. It looks like it uses vacuum pressure to help safely open doors etc.
@david-green It is a small suction cup so you are 100% correct on how it works and it works like a charm.
The Ferrari is a dry sump system so it has an oil tank.
absolutely beautiful model. I do like them on these wheels, as opposed to the knock-offs. I don't have a 275GTB in my collection, unfortunately....here's hoping somebody makes a good one at the lower end of the price spectrum. The ones previously released all look very wrong.
I've seen an incredible 1:1 at a few local car shows. Stunning in person.
