1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 on turntable, I said in the video I got it in around 2007 but it was around 2004 or 2005 when I got it. I have had it a long time.
@chris The yellow Firebird was our LE club car.
Yep. We actually called them (1:18th scale) Zone Cars instead of the 1:24th Club Car. Lane did this one for us in Mayfair Maize.
@perrone1 (...not that any of this matters, but )
LSS: A high school friend restored a yellow '68 H.O. His family owned a collision/mechanical repair facility...so naturally the car was immaculately finished, down to the smallest detail. For many years, I unsuccessfully searched for a yellow 1/18 '68 Firebird to match Danny's.
About 7 years ago I was told that Danny had painted his Firebird in "1980 Corvette yellow." AUHG!! 😬 😳 😠
NOW I KNOW why I never found one! 😮 😮 ☹️ ☹ 😲
Maize yellow looked fantastic on the various '60s GM cars of all classes that wore it.

1980 Corvette - yellow:
On a Firebird? I guess if Danny was happy - well, nuff said!

I gotta agree Pal - it seemed like an update of sorts to the '50's pastel era cars.
@perrone1 LoL! THAT'S IT! 😆 😀 😀 😆
