1973 CanAm Porsche 917/10 George Follmer RC Cola #16
A couple of years ago, I did the artwork for the the 1973 CanAm Porsche RC Cola car of George Follmer. But I put the project on-hold when two model builders I respect tried to build the car and bailed out mid-project on their cars because they came to problems they couldn't resolve. Finally Dennis Koleber bought a set of the decals and subsequently built four of the cars. His first two cars went to George Follmer and George's son, Mike.
So I asked Dennis to convert a car for me. The base car is the Minichamps Brumos car.
Here's the car with pictures of it with the Championship Sunoco, Donohue, Penske Porsche 917/30 and the third place Brumos Porsche driven by Hurley Haywood. Charlie Kemp driving the other RC Cola 917/10 finished the season in fourth.
