I do LOVE the MOMO livery.  I had no clue that it was originally the yellow/black Newman car.  Nice bit of trivia there.  It is too bad that it is sealed, though does seem to have a higher wing than the opening '83 956Ls that Minichamps did in the past.

@gavin These cars were configured different depending on the track, this one was from a 1,000 KM race so it has a high downforce rear bodywork on it. The Le Mans low downforce rear bodywork and under tray would have been changed out on this car. 

These teams would rebuild wrecked cars and even take a good car/new car and rework them to what they felt was a better package. For instance the 1988 Camel Porsche 962 has a front nose from a 956 grafted onto it instead of the 962 nose. Also the rear body work on that car is from a 956 as well but the tub is clearly a 962 because the distance from the rear of the front wheel well opening to the door is longer than the 956 which is where the added wheelbase came from to move the drivers footwell behind the front axle centerline. Many of the private teams built cars that outran the factory team in many races.
