One of the things that puzzled me about this model is that uncharacteristically, Exoto cut corners and didn't accommodate into the design the ability to remove the front clip.

Also, my version doesn't have the cigarette ad of "Silk Cut" on the car.  Did Exoto do two versions, or did you manage to change your model?

Love these Jags.  Wish I'd grabbed one.

@marty-johnson I seen a review where two screws were removed from the bottom and the front cover could come off and there was detail under it. Remember these are the Motor Box editions so are not as highly detailed as the Racing Legends collection. As for the lack of Silk Cut branding that may have been because Silk Cut paid for one car, the #1 and #3 car do not have the Silk Cut branding on them, only the #2 car carries the Silk Cut branding on the Exoto Models. There is Silk Cut branding on other numbers including the #1 at different races so the cars sometimes had the Silk Cut name on the car and other times only the paint scheme. The #2 is just the most famous due to the Le Mans win.

Here is the #1 car on the track and notice in this photo is says Jaguar Finance:

Here is a #2 car without the Silk Cut branding on it:

Mine has the Silk Cut decals on the Number 2 Le Mans winning car. It is the Motor Box edition and as a Jaguar fan, this is one of my favourite Jaguars in my collection along with the Daytona winner. I have not had the opportunity to compare it to the Racing Legends edition.

Great images John. Doesn’t that actual Number 1 car without the Silk Ct decals say Jaguar Finance?

@david-green Yes it does, I think my keyboard is coming to the end of its life, it is several years old. I don't like iMac keyboards in the first place because they have no tactical feel to them and this one has been failing to register all the key clicks and the Apple auto spell check it will insert what it thinks the word should be. I need to replace this key board, the auto spell check I am stuck with. When I type certain words like a name using an upper case letter for the first and last name after the names are typed the auto spell check will change them to all upper case letters. Does this with other words as well. A real pain in the rear.

I purchased a MACALLY wired keyboard it is backlit and the keys have a nice feel to them unlike the Apple keyboard.
