A great looking Mercedes in both real and 1/18 form. Very nice model that must display extremely well and quite impressively !
@gavin HA! I didn't know there was a silver variant produced. I've only seen white & black.... it's VERY cool that you have "that yearly progression."  😎
@mikedetorrice Yes, I liked this car immediately because it's a modern hardtop.
Ok, ok, ok..... It's a beaut of a model...but...does it have valve stems in the wheel rims ?????Â
I HATE when they don't !!!Â
Steve
@100ford2003 You must hate many models, LoL. I'd love to see valve stems on ALL 1/18 replicas, but it's rarely done. It was a hallmark on most HW61 models, and of course several in the "high priced field" but otherwise.... you gotta make 'em yourself brother.  🙄 😔
Adding valve stems is nice but I can see why most don't have them because it ups the cost of development and the end user price. I don't mind paying for a quality diecast as long as I can find enjoyment looking at the car and be able to admire the detail that goes into it, but that costs money.Â
Here are some photos of rims some with valve stems and some without.Â

The Exoto Cobra has valve stems and the CMC Ferrari 275 GTB/C also has valve stems and both cars are nicely detailed and priced to match.
Here the Highway 61 Cuda has valve stems while the Lane Exact Detail Oldsmobile does not have valve stems.Â
This one is a GMP Pontiac and it also does not have valve stems, both Lane Exact Detail and GMP did nice jobs on the rims but both omitted valve stems.Â

Thanks @chris! Just missing the W140 Coupe ('92-99)...it has been released in silver by 2 different companies, but I've been slow to pull the trigger.
