2015 Ford GT in Liquid Blue [PIC]

This GT has the most striking blue color I've ever seen. None of my photographs really do it justice.
This is the Top Speed resin model of (IMHO) the sexiest GT of them all. It's still a bit strange to see that engine badged "ECOBOOST". The word conjures up a Prius.

Cool car, but I still like the previous version better.

Great shots & I LOVE the color.

It seems that Maisto will also be doing this, for those who'd prefer a substantially cheaper opening diecast version (though obviously less detailed as well).

Beautiful car and model. Great pics Richard! The car is very futuristic and very European. Definitely a shot at the well known and established super car manufacturers whose names end in vowels!

I want one but I think I'll wait for the AutoArt version that's likely forthcoming.

Richard.. your pics got me drooling! I originally pre-ordered the Chicago reveal in silver from the company here in SoCal. Then i saw the Autoart Z06 in red and decided i wanted that more. I'm with Marlowe on this and hope Autoart comes out with one too. Your pics are outstanding! Thanks!

Yeah, I agree that it's much more innovative than the previous version, but I still like...

... the previous one better. I think maybe the new one is just TOO innovative. In the words of Mies van der Rohe (and Robert Browning before him), "Less is more."

Of course, if I were given the chance to drive them both, I'm sure there's a good chance that I'd prefer the new one.

Yep! I second that. No matter how good it looks sitting on a shelf...

... I just can't see the point of sealed resin models.

I totally get what you guys are saying...

I look at these resin models as budget savers.
I bought this car totally for its sculptural lines.
These modern engines are shrouded to the point where there's not a big parts count in them anyway. I'd rather keep them closed up just to enjoy the lines.
The older cars and racers are the ones I save my bucks for.

I get what you're saying too. However, I have purchased resin cars that have no chance of ...

... produced in diecast. Most recently, Mickey Thompson's Challenger 1 LSR car and the STP Turbine Indycar from 1967.

For me, add concept cars and prewar custom bodies.
