This 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autobahn Kurier was tagged 2021's "Best of Show" at Pebble Beach. This is the only remaining car of just three built on a supercharged inline eight cylinder, four-speed 540 K chassis and was introduced at the 1938 Berlin Auto Show. Its two-seat fastback design was to define the speed and personal luxury just made for Germany's heralded Autobahn.
