BTW, I was surprised to see the Chevelle and GTO in your collection. It seems antithetical to your almost exclusive focus on racecars.
Yep, me too! Those don't seem quite "Friank-ish" if you know what I mean. 😏 😏 😏
@chris Great work on the Woody!
Come on Frank, let's start a go fund me so you can mirror the background !
👍
@100ford2003 You know I actually thought about that but decided I didn't want to have to look at me every time I looked at my cars

Well Frank, I've never met you in person but I'm just going to have to take your word for that...lol. I'm not much of a fan of looking in the mirror lately either, it's like when did that second and third chin show up it wasn't there a week ago... Sometimes I think my body's been hijacked by little demons.

Another issue with mirrors is that it becomes a "maintenance issue." They'll need to be cleaned regularly, and who wants to do that? 😔 😔 😔
@marty-johnson ..ah...um, looks like you need to update your list now that your Exoto "dust-buster" is on its way. 😀 😀 😀
Yup! Good idea! I just did it!@marty-johnson ..ah...um, looks like you need to update your list now that your Exoto "dust-buster" is on its way. 😀 😀 😀
@marty-johnson Thank you Marty, I truly appreciate that - the dogs love it! 😀 😀 😀
Truth be told, I'm very glad I "fixed" this '48 Ford, however, to have modified it completely accurately would've required weeks more work.
All the door & cargo interior wood should be MUCH thinner - I took the EZ way out. Also, I started work on my '48 Chevy woody years ago - but again, being a Maisto, it will need many improvements beyond just cutting the doors out. I'm so lazy!
I really want to "fix" my 1939 Chevy woody BUT it's simply too under-scaled (c.1/20 ) to invest in. 😔 😔
In the meantime, I'm sprucing up my Paul Goldsmith 1969 Charger stock car; I cut the trunk out - in ten minutes - years ago, now I need to fabricate all the details AND replace these ridiculous wheels! 😲 😲
Stay tuned...
- What? You're cutting and making the trunk lid operable and improving the wheels??? Nooooooooooooo!@marty-johnson Thank you Marty, I truly appreciate that - the dogs love it! 😀 😀 😀
