I can't believe "Ghostbusters" is 38 years old. Anyway, I'm a sucker for figures so I bought this 30th anniversary edition with the four Ghostbusters in action. The Cadillac is actually well done and the accessories necessary for the boys to ply their craft are also well detailed. For me, it's not quite up there with the 1966 Batmobile but it does make a really fun display of an iconic movie vehicle.

About 10 years ago, I saw the car in a parking lot in Santa Monica.

@marty-johnson Do you think it was an actual movie car or a clone?

I love these HW's 1959 Cadillac ambulances. They are "full function" (all open), IN SCALE, and nicely detailed. I still haven't converted mine to a "stock" ambulance but it's a future project for sure.

@rich-sufficool - Was it a clone?  I don't have a clue.  I do know that it's common for the movie studios to make more than one car for filming. It's entirely possible this car was one of several.

In the '80s, I recall seeing the Green Hornet's Black Beauty on a lot on Hollywood Blvd.  My understanding is that two were produced for the TV show by Dean Jeffries.  I've since seen the Black Beauty restored and at the Peterson Museum.  I think for the movie most recently created, about 30 of those were built.
