Or actually the Cyclone picked up collision-avoidance radar in its "Dagmars". The 1959 Cadillac Cyclone concept car was one of the last of the Harley Earl concept designs of space age tributes. A press of the button and the silver infused bubble top popped back to rest on airbags while the doors slid rearward. The exhaust for the 390cid V8 was ported in front of the front wheels and the power was transmitted via a rear mounted transaxle. The original Cyclone had large tail fins ala the GM Firebird concept but, as this Cyclone was shown at shows for many years, the fins were reduced in 1964 to emulate the '63-'64 Cadillac styling. This model reflects those changes and is as it appears now in the General Motors Heritage Collection.
That is a wild looking car

Minichamps.
I have the Minichamps models in 1/43 scale and they are wonderful. Thanks for the writeup Rich. By the way, I spoke with Bill Bennett today and told him that you and Marty had mentioned him on the forum. He told me that he had taken his 240Z to a presentation at the Nissan Design Studio this past weekend and the folks there acted interested in possibly using his car in some publicity shots with the new Z.
