Lamborghini Superleggera GT
Paul:
the Lamborghini Superleggera Gt was the first of love affairs I had with automobiles. I was about 12 years old when I saw one and what a sight it was just an amazingly beautiful automobile. I took a black & white film picture of it that I have to this day. I saw one restored in blue Metallic with a off white interior so beautiful I could not stop looking at it.
The only other cars at the time I really liked was the Aston Martin DB-5 superleggera and the Mercedes-Benz my father purchased a 1968 280SL. I remember buying car magazines by the ton loads and laying down in my bedroom reading what was next. I wish I had keep all those magazines. The only one I kept was the 1969 Road & track new cars very rare I have not seen theses on EBay.
