I've always liked the '59 OLDSMOBILE styling and Sun Star captured this Ninety-Eight Convertible in 1:18 scale to perfection. With the exception of Cadillac, in my opinion General Motors soared scored huge in '59.

This one's a beauty, both as model and 1:1. The SunStar diecast is sensational and I have this same top up red convertible, as well as a couple of the hardtops. Great lines on these '59 Olds !

I also have a two-tone BLUE/WHITE '59 Hardtop. Sun Star's cars are quality all the way!

George, I have both of these models as well. SunStar made wonderful models at a reasonable price.

Agree! You may recall that I came late to the party on buying 1:18 scale diecast models. Of the ones that I now have, I think the Sun Star models are the best quality and replicated the best.

I agree with you George... Sunstar did an excellent job with this 1959 Olds! There's detail "a plenty!"

I agree! Never really being a 1:18 scale guy, I was sold when Sun Star released their '59 Oldsmobile. Two reasons: 1) It was an Oldsmobile and 2) The detail and replication is incredible.

Bought a 59’ Mercury Parklane convertible in midnight black and followed that with my 58 Buick Limited in a beautiful soft yellow.
both in the top down platform which really shows off the interiors to their best avantage
the Sunstar Platium series are 2nd to none in their price point…
hopefully they’ll get the picture posting issue sorted shortly!😒
