A Very Nasty Looking Corvette... [PIC]

@franklemire That is a nice looking Grand Sport, they started to put louvers in the hoods to combat the front end lift those cars suffered from the design of the car. Funny still is they are all 1963 Grand Sport Corvettes but they were listed as the model year for the year they raced them. Another interesting fact about the Grand Sport Corvettes was the teams that raced on Goodyear tires had a Firestone in the trunk because the cars were shipped with Firestone tires, so instead of purchasing a Goodyear to put in the trunk that they would never use they left the Firestone in there.

@chris Well the C2 body Corvettes have always been my favorite - 11 all told - and they raced in the Cobra era so they are a natural fit in my collection.
