ACME #42 Chrysler Barracuda

Chrysler of France's #42 1970 Plymouth Trans Am Barracuda was driven by Henri Chemin. Chemin would order four of these Chrysler Trans Am Barracudas, and he would pilot them to a total of 62 wins! Chemin claimed victories in not just road racing but also in hill climbs and ralleys.

The Hemi Cudas were initially raced in Europe as a factory team. They were loud, fast and quite a spectacle at the race courses. They were very fast and powerful and this, obviously, contributed to their success in hill-climb events. The 426 Hemi Cudas competed against 427 Camaros and Mustang 428 Cobra-Jets in some of the race events.
